Visit Yuanlin Sugar Railway by bike Text/Cheng-wei Huang
I expect to participate in the activity of touring railway by bike. We assembled at the school and walked to Ubike station to rent the bikes, we rode bikes along Jingsiou Road to the bikeway of the external ring, and then rode and stopped along Sugar Railway footpath and rode to the wasted South Yuanlin Railway. On the way, we felt good, the railway was really the common memory of the old generation, and also an inseparable railway in tour to Yuanlin. We must maintain it well, and permanently keep and activate it permanently. Provided that we develop the snacks, ice cream and other special shops of old streets along the way, in combination with the space under the elevated railway and by activating the Yuanlin Silo in the future, we will surely inject new business opportunity to the railway sightseeing culture.

Exploring Yuanlin Sugar Railway by Ubike

We explored the bikeway of Yuanlin Sugar Railway by Ubike and passed through the avenue, the whistling vehicles made us thrilled. After crossing the dangerous road, we came to the entrance, and we were quite relaxed when riding to the green path. But good times did not last long, soon we saw a lot of artificial garbage beside the railway, making us exclaim the insufficient morality of the public, why do they not cherish such good environment? When we enjoy the good facilities, we should make efforts to maintain the environment. We should maintain our own homeland, let’s act together to make our residence community clean!
