In Love with
Yuan-Lin Railway

Statistics of questionnaire survey for “Love Yuanlin Railway”

Picture
Text / Yu-jie Tang

It was very fun doing the questionnaire survey. There were both Internet and paper questionnaires. We targeted elementary students and old people. It was not easy. We were divided into three groups to proceed on street questionnaire survey that day. Some people were glad to help us and thank us, but some people said: “Can I not fill up the questionnaire? It is too difficult.” I have met some illiterate senior people, so I need to read question by question to him in order to finish the questionnaire smoothly.

We proceeded to our questionnaire survey on trains in front of the station and on streets in community and in parks. This was a good opportunity to test our self-cultivation. We needed to be patient during the procedure. When people do not understand the meaning of a question, we need to explain slowly. Even though the questionnaire on the streets was very tiring, it was worth it. Our group collected many questionnaires and learned what others thought about the Yuanlin Railway. The result of every questionnaire is very valuable to us.
