Rail Memory of Yi-ling Lin

The interviewee, Ms. Lin, did not want to move, she said the old house was full of the memory of family members, and she could not bear that more than 40 years’ family memory would drift away because of railway building. She hoped that Changhua County Government could consider the residents. “If I were a public official, when encountering those residents who do not want to move, I would think of an alternative method immediately, or further communicate with the residents, hope that them can understand to make the traffic smooth.”. During the interview, we felt Ms. Lin’s strong feelings to her house. Her family was very warm, and there was the old railway enclosure behind her home! During the interview, we knew about various problems which are worth deep thinking.
