Ou Yangxun studied on Wang Xizhi & Wang Xianzhi calligraphy
Ouyang Xun is known for his Ou calligraphic style. His father Ouyang was a soldier whose wife was taken away by a monster. It took him so long to get his pregnant wife. Unfortunately, he was killed after that.
However, Ou Yangxun is a smart guy since childhood and learns calligraphy quite hard. Once when he went back from a diplomatic mission, he happened to find a calligrapher Suojing's stone tablet in the Western Jin Dynasty. He was so impressed by it that he couldn’t leave and even turned back later to have a clearer look. Lately at night when he went back home, he stayed up all night to think about the tablet.
In the next morning, he then rushed there and kept studying each exact stroke on the tablet for three days and nights. He really adores the calligraphy of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi. Once when he saw a book passed by Wang Xizhi to Wang Xianzhi named “Return Guidance Book”, he spent much money on it and kept learning it for nearly one month day and night to grasp the essence of the book.
