1.Activity background:
Learning the Changhua County Government’s intention to organize a “public demonstration of Chinese calligraphy by thousands of people to celebrate the 290th anniversary of Changhua County”, we immediately communicated with Principal Huang and made an arrangement with him that Class 503 students would attend this celebration on the school’s behalf.

2. Activity date and venue:
Date: December 14, 2013
Venue: Changhua County Stadium

3. Activity content:
Students were divided into two groups. The first group consisted of five students who represented the school to participate in the “public demonstration of Chinese calligraphy by thousands of people to celebrate the 290th anniversary of Changhua County” celebration. The other group, which consisted of high-spirited Cyberfair project members, carried thank-you cards, questionnaires, and promotional posters made with the aid of a group of lady volunteers to the venue of the Cyberfair project and invited street passengers to fill out the questionnaires.

4. Afterthoughts:
When we held the Spring Festival couplets that we wrote at the event or photos taken with those master calligraphers’ works which we queued for a long time to obtain, our hearts were bursting with overwhelming accomplishment and joy. We are often taught by school teachers to speak good words and do good things. As writing Chinese calligraphy contributes to one’s inner tranquility, it is perfect for people wishing to learn to spend time with themselves. Given the benefit of practicing calligraphy, let’s indulge ourselves in the delightful Chinese calligraphy henceforth
