The Reflection Of Taiwanese- Japanese Cooperation Art Exhibition

Today, Mrs. Lin leaded us to visit the Chinese and Japanese Art Exhibition at the
Yuanlin Performance Hall. The calligraphic works hung on the wall is so spectacular that I couldn’t help gazing at them. One of my favorite Chinese phases is “江月不隨流水去”(jiang-yue-bu-sui-liu-shui-qu) written by a Japanese calligrapher , which made me feel overwhelming.
On the second floor, Mrs. Lin said “Chang chun-hui’s claims to fame is that he’s good at bamboo paintings which are attractive and animated.” To my surprise, Chang is also a boxing coach even he is at the age of eighty now. I was astonished at his art works and his career.
The most special is that there are many giant works from Japan. I marveled at the floor-to ceiling painting inside the hall.

It’s our honor to accept Xu’s invitation to visit this art exhibition. I found that Japanese liked to write giant characters in a piece of paper, for example, I especially appreciate the noun, “大海”(It means ocean in Chinese.) which gave a sense of fluency.
Then, I went to the second floor to see Xu’s works. I admired this phase: “千里之外盡皆兄弟”(qian-li-zhi-wai-jin-jie-xiong-di) written in Chinese characters with a distinguished seal. Before we left the Performance Hall, we took the pictures with masters, signed our autograph on guests’ book, and signed commemorative seals on our brochure. It’s a great chance for us to visit the amazing art works.
