The Reflection Of Literary Trail in Yuanlin Senior High School

图片
By   Guo Xin-yu

Today, we planned to visit Yuanlin Senior High School, which is our fifth activity for Cyberfair.
We got very excited when we came to Yuanlin Senior High School. Arriving at the school gate, we saw a big ball holding by a pair hands. “It’s the well-known landmark in our school” said Principle Lu. Along to the street, we came to the Literal Trail, which exhibited pop-up books with creative design.
Then, Mr. Lu took us to visit the most attractive Calligraphy Wall, which consists of a block of wood stitched together, writing many works of calligraphy. After Mr. Lu’s introduction, we look for the masterpiece that we were interested in and tried to finish the questions on the worksheet.
Next to the Calligraphy Wall is the library. Writing on the entrance of the white walls of the article, entitled "Reading eighteen asked," to remind teachers and students to read repeatedly. Then, we came to the promenade in front of the meeting room lined with master’s works. To my surprise, the Chinese characters were written on different materials, for example, some are written on the wood, the others are written on the paper. It seems that calligraphy is an interesting art if you are willing to try different styles.

The topic we want to research is how to integrate the cultural environment into calligraphy; thus, we visited Yuanlin Senior High School to get the answers.
Upon entering the gate, Mr. Lu introduced us the Literal Trail with Pop-up books exhibition which got me hooked. Then, we went to the Calligraphy Trail to appreciate the works. I admired Sheng-I Chang’s pieces, particular the work, Wing, for three techniques combination, which made me feel amazed. Then, I found some quotes said by Shakespear. One of my favorite sentences is “False face must hide what the false heart doth know”. In addition, I saw the word “Wu”(悟) engraved on the stone, which means that you realize something difficult.
I felt satisfied with this visit since I liked the rich cultural environment here.

Today, we went to Yuanlin Senior High School as our field trip. I saw a big ball holding by a pair hands when I entered the school gate. Then, we visited the Literal Trail and Calligraphy Trail to see seniors’ extinguished works like pop-up books or articles. The spotlight of the trail is different master’s calligraphy works written on the sticks. Then, we viewed the works looking for the specific answers to the worksheet.
For a while, Mr. Lu invited us to take a rest at his office, where is comfortable and beautiful. It’s a spiritual trip for me to visit such a cultural environment. I thought I would come here again with my family.
