     A total of 233 questionnaires were issued in Changhua County. Since 49% of respondents are high school, middle school, and primary school students, the analysis may only be used as a reference for calligraphy education in Changhua County.
2.My learning experience with calligraphy? [May select more than one]

     14% of respondents have never learned calligraphy, so learning calligraphy in Taiwan is common. Mostly, it was learned in school classes (55%).

     34% of respondents spend one to two hours in calligraphy per week, which shows the ration of people who spend extra time in calligraphy is very low.
4.I can tell the difference between seal, official, cursive, running, and regular script works.

5.Am I interested in learning calligraphy?

     73% of respondents are interested in learning calligraphy. The number of middle school students that like learning calligraphy is pretty even with the number of students that dislike it.

     47% of respondents learn calligraphy due to their interest in traditional culture.

     7% of respondents think that the primary school students do not need to learn calligraphy; however, almost half of the middle school students have no interest in learning calligraphy, which is very strange.

8.How do I determine whether the middle school or primary school students need to learn calligraphy? [May choose more than one]

     58% of respondents think that learning calligraphy can help middle school and primary school students improve behavior; 49% of respondents think it helps improve learning; and, 48% of respondents think it helps promote Chinese culture.
