Chingsau Elementary School Students Performed at Sansheng Temple’s End-of-Year Celebration to Express Gratitude for the Temple’s Blessing

       As the host of an end-of-year celebration, Yuanlin Sansheng Temple invited famous calligraphers to write and distribute Spring Festival couplets to the public. With gratitude for Sansheng Temple’s favor and protection for students at the neighboring Chingsau Elementary School, the school appointed school students to perform in a talent show at the celebration. Furthermore, students assisted with sale of artworks and raise money to build orphanages in South Africa.

       The “
The Nine Prodigies of  Huangsi”, a famous calligrapher group from Changhua County, held a cursive-script calligraphy exhibition at Mingdao University. Members of the NPH“The Nine Prodigies of  Huangsi” are all expert calligraphers with decades of experience in calligraphy. Their high-standard Chinese calligraphic artworks are highly recognized in the art circle.

       The art gallery at Dacun Township, Changhua County, was designed for art exhibitions. The group exhibition of calligraphic works by the “The Nine Prodigies of  Huangsi” will last until the end of March and all residents are welcome to appreciate the quintessence of Chinese culture.

Renowned Calligrapher Group “The Nine Prodigies of  Huangsi” Turned Fences at Shetou Junior High School into an Art Gallery

       To celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding, Shetou Junior High School invited master calligraphers “The Nine Prodigies of  Huangsi” to demonstrate calligraphy. White-coloured school fences dotted with black ink became the school’s “art gallery”.

       With furniture and carpentry classes at school, National Yuanlin Chung Shih Industrial Vocational High School inevitably produces waste materials, which would indeed “go to waste” if being discarded. To reduce waste production, the school collaborated with the calligrapher group “
The Nine Prodigies of  Huangsi” to embellish waste materials with calligraphy and turn unwanted waste wood into treasurable artworks by inscribing waste wood with artistic brush strokes.

       Master calligraphers from the 
The Nine Prodigies of  Huangsi wrote the “Tzu Chi Jing Sih Aphorisms” by Dharma Master Cheng Yen in Chinese calligraphy at Tzu Chi’s Yuanlin Township Liaison Center. As insignificant as a person’s love might appear, these master calligraphers used ink brushes to demonstrate the spirit of great love and demonstrated the truth, goodness, and beauty of calligraphy to volunteers at Tzu Chi.

       A group calligraphy exhibition of the “
The Nine Prodigies of  Huangsi” was held at the exhibition hall of Yuanlin Township Auditorium. The eight calligraphers are all famous calligraphy experts in Taiwan and the calligrapher group was founded on the premise of their congenial aspiration for promoting the art of calligraphy.
