Interview Mr. Bei Yuan Zhang

Interview Mr. Bei Yuan Zhang      Huang Re Tsz
“The Nine Prodigies of Huang Xi”Mr. Bei Yuan Zhang, he's the youngest and also wins the most prizes in the club. Mr. Zhang has written calligraphy for more than twenty years. Even, he got "the excellency award for public servant" in 2003, the work called "Huai Gu Ji Shi Du Zi Mei Yong". This works looks quite unique, which is worthy of its name. What's more, in 2010, Mr. Zhang won the most honor prize, " the most honor Huang Xi award, Carving in calligraphy, which is displayed in Buraeu of Cultural Affair. If we describe that Chaunghwa county is a lake, Mr. Zhang is just like a fountainhead.
Practicing calligraphy makes Mr. Zhang's life become colorful. Before practicing calligraphy, he has to make tea first which makes him relaxed. I would like to learn doing things with perseverance from him, which is the key to success.
From this interview, I feel Mr. Zhang set a really good example for me. I know that I should study harder in order to become a respectful artist as Mr. Zhang.

Interview Mr. Bei Yuan Zhang         Chien Jen
Mr. Bei Yuan Zhang has never made sketch before practicing calligraphy. No matter what kinds of shapes of words he wrote, it doesn't matter to him. Mr. Zhang is used to making tea before practicing calligraphy, smelling and then sipping it, which makes him stay calm. After class, he goes everywhere to find inspiration. Because there isn't enough space in his house, he makes his work at school most of time. The story of Mr. Zhang is very interesting and every stage of his life is meaningful as well.

Interview Mr. Bei Yuan Zhang    Huang Wei Ru
The first impression for Mr. Zhang is that he is so young and totally different from other masters who we interviewed before. When we interviewed Mr. Zhang, he mentioned that there are three people who impressed him most. First one is Mr. Rung Ching Ren, Mr. Ren teaches him that he has to write words big to make them seem to be powerful. The second one is Mr. De Shing Luo who teaches engraving. Last one is Mr. Yu Chou Li. Mr. Li teaches the course of learning theory. Mr. Zhang shows his masterpiece to us, and also gives us his work and calender. Hope we have chance to visit him soon.
