Walking out of Shetou Train Station, Taiwan Hosiery Relics Hall comes into view. Its predecessor is Tong Ren She. The design of its building is quite distinctive. It is few of the exquisite buildings existed for almost a hundred year since it was under the rein of Japanese. It was originally built for Railway Transport Corporation, but then it had gradually fallen into disuse. After 30 years of desuetude, Changhua County Shetou Hosiery Industrial Association turned it into Taiwan Hosiery Relics Hall to offer tours to introduce the history of hosiery industry development and to display the old type of hosiery knitters.
