Today was a nervous day for us because after two weeks of writing the script and rehearsing, we were finally going to perform Glove Puppetry in classes.

The performance names of the four groups were respectively Mazu Conquering the Demon (媽祖收妖), Sun Wukong Makes Three Attempts to Borrow the Plantain Fan (孫悟空三借芭蕉扇), Magical Princess (魔髮公主) and the Cute Version of Romantic of Three Kingdoms (Q版三國演義). Each group watched other groups’ performances so they could learn from each other. We stayed tense until the performances were over because we wanted to show our best to the audiences.

We think this is a great experience. We practiced our oral abilities and trained to have the courage to go on stage, a case of killing two birds with one stone. We hope we have more chances of doing this kind of activities. The following are the photos of us performing Glove Puppetry:
