Yuanlin Baiguoshan used to be the area where shrines were built during Japanese colonization period and then it was developed into a scenic spot by the Township office using the approach of public management. Baiguoshan is a part of Baguashan. It is called Baiguoshan for it grows many kinds of fruit trees and greenery.

Baiguoshan scenic spot is famous for preserved fruits. The scenery there is charming. In it, people can find a hiking trail that is open to everyone and children’s favorite space–playground.



Baiguoshan abounds with fruits, living up to the reputation of “salty, sour, sweet Yuanlin”. There are various kinds of mouthwatering preserved fruits, which can be bought anywhere in Yuanlin’s streets. Besides, around it, there are carambola sightseeing orchards. Families can go visit and have fun fruit picking on weekends.
